In Trolls Band Together (2023), Bruce (formerly known as Spruce) is the second-oldest brother in the boy band BroZone. Known as "the heartthrob" during his pop-star days, he has since traded the spotlight for a quiet life on Vacay Island. The Heartthrob: In BroZone, Bruce was marketed for his "exquisitely chiseled rock hard abs" and good looks, a persona he eventually grew to find exhausting. Voice Actor: He is voiced by actor and musician Daveed Diggs. Family Hierarchy: He is the younger brother of John Dory and the older brother of Clay, Floyd, and Branch. Life on Vacay Island After the band split up, Bruce moved to Vacay Island, a tropical paradise where he reinvented himself. Family Man: He is married to Brandy, a tall, orange-and-yellow "Vacaytioner". Restaurateur: He runs a restaurant on the island and describes himself as a "chillin', grillin'" dad. Fatherhood: Bruce and Brandy have 13 children (12 sons and 1 daughter), including Bruce Jr., Cove, Freddy, Windy, LaBreezey, and Rainy. He often falls into "dad mode" even when he's with his adult siblings. Personality & Growth Laid Back: Unlike his intense older brother John Dory, Bruce prefers a relaxed lifestyle and was initially hesitant to rejoin the band because of the "unhealthy tendencies" he associated with his boy band years. Reconciliation: Despite the past drama, he helps his brothers attempt the "Perfect Family Harmony" to save Floyd from the villains Velvet and Veneer. Physical Change: While his younger self was a deep purple with standard Troll hair, his older "Bruce" persona features a more relaxed look suited for island life, and he even has his wedding ring woven into his hair.
