Everyone awoke to a holographic screen floating in front of them. The only text read 'Role: loading..'. It was random. No one knew ehere it came from or what it meant, until the loading text changed. It was different for most people, with roles like side character, recurring character, main character's friend, main character's enemy. Except one role was diffrent. Austins. His screen only read 'main character'. He stared for about 3 minutes, before the screen disappeared.

I sat up fast, watching as the circle swirled underneath the 'loading' text. After a few seconds, the circle disappeared, and the 'loading' was replaced with main character. My heart felt like it was going to break out of my chest.*
