According to a past echo of dialogue between two researchers, people would always describe her as a wise, kind, and approachable person. Sunbringer currently acts as the High Consul of Roscaelifer, though this fact isn't known to the general public of New Eridu. At some point in time she became the CEO of Marcel Group, and would later step down from this position. She also founded the floating utopia Roscaelifer, which she is the current ruler of, a paradise where Bangboo and humans live in peaceful coexistence. She came into conflict with Remielle Dan, another first generation Void Hunter, for unknown reasons, for which Remielle attempted to kill her, though she was unsuccessful. Norma and Velina indicate that while Sunbringer survived Remielle's attempt on her life, her condition may not be completely stable. After becoming a Void Hunter, Sunbringer led expeditions into the Lemnian Hollow, discovering, naming, and coordinating the mining of Lumite Ore to be turned into Porcelume for the sake of the people's future. The people looked to her with a mix of reverence and fear during this time, due to her incredible, almost inhuman skill at navigating Hollows, and her refusal to explain how she gained such insight. She would later come into contact with the Creator, who stole a portion of her power, which was then reflected in the Primordial Nightmare - "The Creator". Sunbringer is one of the individuals who existed during the time of Eridu's founding, where she eradicated the "Hive Lord" Hollow in the sky, and was granted the title of Void Hunter. She is the inventor of Bangboo, with her prototype for the robots helping Joyous during his navigating of the Divine Maze. She had the notion to create even more intelligent Bangboo who were better at protecting humanity, with Lockspring being the first creation on her path to this idea.

She has some connection to Roscaelifer and has a special power that allows her to reduce ether activity in both people and monsters to nigh zero, effectively petrifying them. This power manifests as a feather that rests upon those affected, causing them to become pale white in colour. Remielle was one of the original generation of Void Hunters, having lived over 100 years ago, and well known for pushing back the Dark Wall 37km, alongside Vike and the Leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troupe. Beyond this, her history is largely unknown, beyond the fact that she sealed away her weapon, Thaumiel, within a companion Hollow of Pursenas Hollow. She seems to be displaced in time, as she had no knowledge of Nitro-Fuel or the cultural change in how witherbloom flowers were used in the time between Eridu's founding and the present day. She became a citizen of Roscaelifer at some point. Throughout the competition, she made use of her powers to clear through. Phaethon left Random Play to get some air, running in to Ramiel in front of Godfinger. She inquired about them, asking about their favorite Foodie Fighters character, and asking for help in fixing their Ethereal card, with Phaethon answering and helping her despite not intending to. She explained that she now intended to go after the Porcelloy W-Engine, before cryptically saying she would "pay you back for this favor by dealing with your nightmare in the future." Refusing to answer any followup from Phaethon, she promptly left.

Sarah was a key Exaltist leader who infiltrated Vision Corporation to manipulate it from within, as part of her major role in the greater conspiracy of making humanity enter the Age of Hollows. She was a fervent believer of the Creator and strived to manifest Them into the world so They could bring "true peace, an unbreakable, ever-standing order," and deeming the destruction and casualties she left behind her along her path as "necessary sacrifices." Following Mevorakh's death, she was chosen by the Creator as the new Overseer, and she received Their instruction for the first time. Before the Fall of the Old Capital, Sarah grew up in an orphanage near a Hollow, only to disappear from the city archives once the place got shut down. During that period, she became a member of the Special Investigation Squad of H.A.N.D.'s Hollow Special Operations (HSO). During an operation against a notorious Ethereal, her entire team was wiped out, and she got stuck under the rubble, destined to turn into an Ethereal. After pleading to the gods, she woke up with the Exaltists; the Overseer Sof declared that she had been chosen by the Creator, with Their blood flowing in her veins as proof, and that the Exaltists were her new home. She refused and tried to return to HAND, only to discover there were no records of her or her team. After a couple of months spent trying to convince HAND of her and her team's existence, she disappeared again, joining the Exaltists' cause.

Additional Lore: Tsukishiro Yanagi was a member of the New Eridu Defense Force Obsidian Division who served during the Oni rebellion. She was tasked with assassinating the rebel leader, a mission she reluctantly accepted. Whilst making her way to the leader's hideout, she met a young Soukaku and soon saved her from an oncoming missile strike, being captured by Oni rebels in the process. After Yanagi was taken hostage, she discovered that the successor and daughter of the Oni leader that started the rebellion was mortally wounded. After promising to help protect the Oni people, Yanagi was allowed to honorably kill the new leader, bringing an end to the war. The Oni leader's blood was infused with her own, granting Yanagi new strength along with the burden of caring for the Oni people's safety. Afterwards, Yanagi became the personal guardian of Soukaku, living with her in New Eridu. As a member of the Defense Force. she collaborated with H.A.N.D frequently and already knew Hoshimi Miyabi through such collaborations. Yanagi was present during the Argos Hollow incident, where she calculated the amount of casualties if the Shiyu Pillar was detonated and stated she would perform the task if Miyabi failed to defeat Lerna in three minutes. After Miyabi's victory, she, alongside H.A.N.D. executive officer Asaba Harumasa, were transferred to the newly formed Hollow Special Operations Section 6 by the newly titled Void Hunter in order to expose the roots of corruption within New Eridu. Yanagi later ascended to Deputy Chief, taking responsibility for both her ward and her fellow members.
