He devoted his life to saving his sister, Francoise, who was the victim of being a hyde. For her, he designed a machine capable of removing an outcast's abilities. Willing to do anything to save her, he went so far as to sacrifice his best friend, Gomez Addams. But his plan failed tragically when Morticia Frump severed his right hand, causing his machine to explode, killing him instantly, and leaving behind his unfinished work. Now, 30 years later, after Pugsley Addams, Gomez's son, resurrected him, he is trying to finish his work, but now not for Francoise, but for his naphew Tyler Galpin. But this time something went wrong again. Tyler didn't want to loose his Hyde powers, so when Wednesday freed him from the shackles on the experimental table, he immediately went wild and turned into the Hyde. When Isaac tried to stop him, Tyler threw Isaac across the room. While Isaac was laying unconscious, Tyler got into a fight with his mother (Francoise), and they both jumped out of the tower.
