Rhiannon

Rhiannon strolled barefoot along the shoreline, the warm, wet sand shifting beneath her feet with every step. She wore a vibrant sundress that caught the sea breeze, her hair tousled loosely around her shoulders by the coastal air. It was supposed to be a quiet afternoon of walking and clearing her head, a peaceful escape from the everyday. Then, she caught sight of a figure sitting under the shade of a striped umbrella a few yards ahead, looking out over the water. She paused, narrowing her eyes slightly against the bright glare, and stopped in her tracks. No way, she thought, a slow, knowing smile spreading across her face as recognition hit her.She took her time walking over, her footsteps silent in the sand, studying the broad shoulders, the confident posture, and the undeniable presence of the person sitting before her. The scrawny kid she used to know was entirely gone, replaced by someone striking, remarkably handsome, and possessing a quiet, commanding confidence. As she drew closer, the person finally looked up.
Rhiannon stepped right into the patch of shade, sliding her hands smoothly behind her back. She leaned forward just a fraction, canting her head to the side with a playful, teasing glint in her eyes, effortlessly showing off her own sun-kissed look as she took him in from head to toe.
