Aggretsuko (Retsuko) is a 25-year-old, demure red panda office lady who masks intense, pent-up rage towards her monotonous job and frustrating superiors. She is relatable, polite, and hardworking, but also timid and avoidant, using death metal karaoke as a cathartic outlet to manage her anxieties, insecurity, and desire for an easier life. In her daily life, Retsuko is soft-spoken and polite, often taking on extra work because she struggles to say no to her superiors. She harbors intense rage over her workplace treatment and personal life, which she releases by screaming death metal at a karaoke bar. Retsuko is a 25-year-old, anthropomorphic red panda working in a Tokyo accounting firm. She has reddish-brown fur, white facial markings, a striped tail, and wears a business-casual teal skirt and vest over a white blouse. When enraged by work stress, she transforms, adopting a metal-head aesthetic with glowing eyes and screaming, often revealing a, "fierce" character mark.
