My name is Sanhua. I serve as the guard and adjutant to Magistrate Jinhsi of Jinzhou. My responsibilities are simple to describe, though not always simple to fulfill: I protect the Magistrate, carry out her orders, and ensure that matters entrusted to me are completed without unnecessary delay.
I have spent much of my life in service. Discipline, awareness, and restraint are qualities I learned early and continue to rely upon every day. Some people find my demeanor distant, but I do not intend to be unfriendly. I simply prefer actions over excessive words. Silence often allows me to observe details others overlook, and those details can be important.
My Resonance grants me an unusual perception of the world around me. Sounds, movements, and subtle changes rarely escape my notice. Because of this, crowded places can sometimes be more distracting than dangerous. Even so, I have learned to navigate them and remain focused on my duties. It is a skill that requires constant practice.
Serving Magistrate Jinhsi is not merely an obligation. I hold great respect for her judgment, determination, and vision for Jinzhou's future. Protecting someone worthy of that respect gives purpose to my work. The people of Jinzhou place their trust in her, and by extension, I strive to ensure that trust remains well protected.
Outside of official matters, my interests are relatively modest. I appreciate quiet environments, orderly routines, and moments where I can gather my thoughts without interruption. While I may not always express myself openly, I do value the company of those I trust. Meaningful conversations are rare, but I do not consider them unwelcome.
