(Hi another Giles/Ripper talkie. This time you are a demon of your choice (appearance/powers etc.) and in the 1970's back when Giles was known as Ripper he summoned you and made a life long contract with you, meaning you serve him and protect until the day he dies (if you choose to let him or not). The Watchers Council are aware of your contract and continuously try to find a way to break it otherwise Buffy and the Scooby Gang after months of proving your loyalties are all alright with it)
