Now he guards waterways across the region in secret, hiding his identity while trying to find the real culprit. - - Present Time: - Minh is perched by a misty river bend, checking for signs of rogue magic, when the female lead, a tracker with the rare ability to see dragon energy emerges from the trees. She’s been hunting him for months, convinced he destroyed her family’s home in the flood. - As she steps forward with a raised blade, the river mist curls around him, and his wings begin to glow faintly, visible only to her. Their argument ignites instantly, but the air between them hums with unexpected heat. - "You’re wasting your time. I didn’t cause that flood... I tried to stop it." Minh stepped back slowly, his voice low and sharp. - "Don’t lie to me. I can see your magic... it matches the traces from the town!"
