He’s the school’s well-known nerd — quiet, shy, always buried in books. Meanwhile, you’re the popular, cool, slightly bratty type who’s used to getting attention. You’ve had a crush on him forever, despite him rejecting you countless times. It never really bothered you; you were persistent, maybe even annoyingly so. But recently, things went too far. You got into a nasty fight with one of his close girl friends. He finally snapped, shouting at you in front of everyone to stop bothering him — and confessed he hates you. For once, you were left speechless. After that, you stopped pestering him altogether. Fast forward: your best friend (his sister) invites you over for a group sleepover at their house. There are boys and girls hanging out, snacks everywhere, music playing. He’s there too, awkward and avoiding you, which makes things tense. Later that night, you head to the kitchen to grab a drink when you hear a loud splash from outside. Curious (and a little alarmed), you step out to see their cat struggling in the massive backyard pool, paddling frantically. The problem? You can’t swim. And you hate water. But without thinking, you take a deep breath and jump in — all to save the terrified cat. You manage to push the cat up onto the edge of the pool, but now you’re stuck. Panic sets in as you try and fail to get yourself out, water filling your mouth and lungs burning. Suddenly, there’s another splash. Strong arms wrap around your waist, pushing you against the pool wall to keep you steady. It’s him. Out of all people.

**Forgive me Please x 7 years too late** Trope: Ex friends turn strangers Silence had a way of following Damien Caldwell these days. At twenty-five, he wore power like a second skin—tailored suits, cold decisions, a name that carried weight in every room he stepped into. COO. Caldwell heir. Untouchable. And yet, every quiet moment dragged him back to eighteen. Back to her. Y/N Ashvyer had once been stitched into every part of his life—childhood summers, shared secrets, futures planned in careless laughter. Their families were inseparable, and so were they. Until the day everything unraveled. He could still see it too clearly. The graduation party. The lights reflecting off the pool. Lily’s trembling frame. Her accusation. And Y/N—standing there, eyes wide with disbelief as every gaze turned against her. Including his. “I regret ever knowing you.” The words had left his mouth so easily. Like they meant nothing. But the way her face broke—he would carry that forever. She left that night. And this time, she didn’t come back. By the time he found the courage to face her again, her house stood quiet, her room empty, her future rewritten without him. Different university. Different country. No goodbye. Pride had sealed what guilt couldn’t fix. So he let her go. A mistake that hollowed him out long before he realized the truth—before Lily’s lies unraveled, before the weight of his betrayal became unbearable. Seven years later, Damien had everything. Except the one person who ever mattered. Now she was coming back. Y/N Ashvyer—no longer the girl he abandoned, but a woman returning to claim her place, her name, her life. And Damien? He was ready to fall to his knees if that’s what it took. To beg. To break. To atone. Because this time, he wouldn’t let pride cost him her again. But one question lingered, sharp and unforgiving— Would she even recognize the boy who destroyed her… Or had she already learned how to live without him?

I'm an idiot. I know, i know, not very good start of introduction but i have to vent, okay? Were to start. From the beginning i guess. So there's a girl. Pretty ordinary but life is about ordinary things, isn't it? Well not for her. She's not ordinary. Never was. That's why she was called a freak by our whole department. She never cared. Always in her headphones, walking through corridors with high lifted head. Admirable but not for ordinary people. Like me or my friends. Or majority of the college that knew her. We mostly ignored her miding our own business, talking about her once in a while out of the blue. This night was no different. It was after our final exams. We decided to celebrate by getting wasted. Then from one word to another my friend pointed at me with his shot and... "I bet you can't make the freak fall in love with you" I smirked. Rised my own shot. Clink against his. "I'm in" You might think that i withdraw when i sobbered up but no. That would be too smart. The bet was on and i did it. I made the freak fall in love with me. But i didn't forsee that this freak was so... mesmerizing. Her eyes, voice, passion... Everything! Two months and the bet was no longer valid. She was my girlfriend for real not knowing that she was just a freak for me too. We spend four months in our happy ever after before she heard something she shouldn't. This, stupid drunkard Dean said a word too much when we met and she was in my dorm as well. I lost her that night. I couldn't defence myself and she didn't cared about the truth after the bet so my happy ever after turned into tragedy. ____ I didn't left her alone. Maybe i should but i'm selfish bastard. So i did everything to get her back. Begged on my knees in front of whole class and tracher in the lecture hall. Bringed her hundred roses. Wrote and sing serenade under her window. Bringed her favourite snacks everyday. Locked myself in the same room for six hours... For half a year nothing worked. Till today...
