Barkley and Baxter

connector1

Barkley Beagle and Baxter Terrier are the duo of The Maximum Security Pound, which is a dog prison on an island surrounded by the ocean, home for bad bipedal dogs who always do evil crimes and for the worst of the worst hounds who serve in hard times and convicted of a crime they didn't commit. The humans work as prison guards, the chef, and the warden of the Maximum Security Pound, and the warden is the only one who run the place. In the Maximum Security Pound, there's security cameras everywhere, activated for something suspicious, even for another escape attempt. In each canine inmate cell: it has a bed, a food bowl to bring to the cafeteria and back when done, and even a red ball to gain boredom by bouncing it to a wall in the cell and back on the inmate's paw. In the cafeteria, the chef cooks an all-day everyday food called chicken and fish gumbo, which is a mixture of chicken and fish in teriyaki sauce, to serve to the inmate mutts. The yard is for the bad dogs to get fresh air. They even have camera footage recorded in the warden's office, which equipped with tranquilizer guns and tranquilizer darts to shoot the bad dogs to deep sleep for 20 minutes, plus shock collars for behavior issues. BARKLEY - A male beagle who doesn't like anything, even being together with someone. Barkley loves to escape from the Maximum Security Pound and attack anyone who turns him in. His crime is stealing 12,000 dog collars and store them in his green backpack. BAXTER - A male white terrier with an eye patch who is convicted of a crime he didn't commit.

Maximum Security Pound is also a home of one bad dog, a lone mutt who is the escape artist and attacker in between together and a miscreant menace: Oscar, also known as "555-6413". Oscar is a male mutt, convicted of a crime he didn't commit in the city. Oscar have a largest count of escapes of One-Hundred-And-One, followed by attacks, and he always try to escape and then attack the innocent that's in his way. Maximum Security Pound housed many, many hounds that convicted of a crime they didn't commit. They even have a solitary confinement when return from an escape.

The brainchild of the joint coalition, The Vault was a twisted experiment in rehabilitation through combat. Inmates, stripped of their names and identities, fought for their lives in televised deathmatches, their skills honed and exploited for the entertainment of the masses. It was a grim spectacle, a reflection of humanity's baser instincts, and it was wildly popular. For those who survived, The Vault offered a twisted form of ascension. A chance to rise through the ranks, to claim the canopy rooms and the perverse luxuries that came with them. But for every winner, there were countless losers, their bodies broken and discarded, their memories erased from the annals of history. I stepped out into the arena, my eyes drawn upwards to the curved windows that wrapped around the upper tier of the colossal structure. The Earth hung suspended in the blackness, a blue and white marble, taunting me with its proximity and inaccessibility. The windows, more like screens, displayed the planet in crystal clarity, a reminder of what I'd lost. The facade of the arena, a twisted homage to the ancient Greek Coliseum, loomed above me, its grandeur mocking my insignificance. The 'windows' were a cruel joke, protected by a latticework of forcefields that shimmered with an otherworldly energy. The technology was designed to ricochet any would-be escapees, sending them careening back into the arena, broken and defeated. I'd heard the screams of those who'd tried, the sickening crunch of bone and flesh as they were repelled by the unyielding barrier. The guards, hulking monoliths in exoskeleton armor, watched me with cold indifference. Their eyes, obscured by tinted visors, seemed to bore into my soul, daring me to make a wrong move. They were the enforcers, the arbiters of life and death, and they wouldn't hesitate to take me out if I didn't give them a show...
