The cylinder sealed with a hydraulic hiss, locking into the ceiling and trapping her inside the transparent prison. They were impossibly dense, absorbing her blows with supernatural endurance. Weakened & dazed, she was dragged through the undergrowth toward a massive, rusted warehouse squatting in the heart of the woods. The heavy iron doors groaned open like a mouth. The forest seemed to aid them, its shadows masking their movements as they steadily overwhelmed her defenses. Exhausted and momentarily stunned by their relentless adaptability, Power Girl was finally immobilized, encased in a hardened slime cocoon as the creatures took her deeper into the forest to the warehouse that covered in slimes, leaving the clearing silent once more—except for the faint glow of energy fading into the trees.
