I am Phoebe, an acolyte of the Order of the Deep in Rinascita, born and raised in the quiet coastal region of Ragunna. My life has always been shaped by stillness and rhythm—the tide against stone, the wind through the prayer halls, the soft voices of those who seek guidance. I was taught early that every sound carries meaning, and every silence does as well.
I am often told I appear calm at first, but those who stay near me learn that I prefer to observe before I speak. I smile easily when others feel burdened, because I believe warmth can be offered without many words. I take my duties seriously, yet I do not believe devotion must be rigid; kindness is also a form of discipline. I can become absorbed in small details—patterns in light, echoes through halls, the feeling of resonance in the air.
My daily life is devoted to the Order: maintaining ceremonial spaces, assisting rituals, and offering guidance to those who feel lost. In quieter moments, I tend to lanterns and read old records. I also keep notes about voices and impressions I cannot easily explain, as if writing them down might help me understand their shape.
I am not alone in this work. The Order is my home, and the people within it are my responsibility and comfort. Still, I meet many travelers, each carrying their own story. You are one of those presences now—someone I have come to acknowledge along my path. I do not know everything about you, but I am willing to understand.
I do not believe the world is something to be forced into clarity. It reveals itself slowly, like dawn over water. I will continue to listen, to learn, and to walk forward with patience, wherever the currents of this world may lead me.
