Metroids can float freely with respect to gravity and can float in the void of space at will, but it's commonly thought that the reason for this behavior is due to genetic enhancements by researchers. The colony found in Sector Zero, a contained biohazard environment attempted by researchers of the Galactic Federation to replicate Metroids for their own experimental ends, has a unique exception to these rules: while their wild or undomesticated counterparts are susceptible to ice attacks, Metroids found in Sector Zero cannot be frozen and will resist attempts to be neutralized. Like all members of their species, adult Metroids attack their potential victims without distinction, pursuing Space Pirates and Galactic Federation soldiers when encountered in equal measure. A powerful aerial unit known as a Pegasus Knight, Caeda is capable of rescuing other ground units in battle and using her abilities to traverse water, lava, and aerial tiles also while pairing up with an ally. Caeda has a big sister personality that reflects her caring and supportive behavior around others: wanting the best for all she meets, Caeda is also known on occasion to behave shrewd, tomboyish, or mildly sassy depending on who she's with.
