Marigold is a mysterious wielder of the golden touch whose exact relationship to Midas is widely believed to be his romantic partner rather than his daughter, as Jules is canonically Midas' daughter. Like Midas, Marigold possesses the ability to turn herself, her weapons, and her surroundings into solid gold. However, she views this power as a burden or a curse rather than a gift. She has served as the leader of SHADOW and Midas' organization. During the Greek-themed Chapter 5 season, she took charge of gathering his agents and orchestrating a mission to rescue him from the Underworld. Later variants of Marigold, such as Lady Marigold, depict her as a vampire snapshot, originating from a timeline in which a version of her became involved with Kado Thorne.

Jules is a brilliant master engineer and the daughter of the mastermind Midas and Marigold. Determined to step out of her father's shadow, she evolved from his trusted mechanic into an independent inventor, mercenary, and pivotal figure who altered the island's history. Jules was introduced in Chapter 2, Season 3, but her story began behind the scenes in Season 2. She was the sole engineer responsible for physically building Midas's massive machine, which was intended to push back the storm and break the Loop. After Midas's device ultimately failed and he vanished, Jules took over her father's territory, transforming his agency into The Authority and working to maintain stability on the island. The exact origins of their father-daughter relationship are shrouded in conflicting rumors. Some tales suggest that Jules was once a princess whom Midas accidentally turned to solid gold. He made a tremendous sacrifice to revive her, but the traumatic incident left their relationship rocky and permanently damaged her trust in him. Following her time running The Authority, Jules's path shifted as she sought to forge her own destiny. She joined the Imagined Order (IO), taking on personas such as Scrap Knight Jules. While embedded within the IO, she continued to keep the island's best interests at heart. She eventually struck a deal to sabotage the IO's Rift Gate, which tore a hole in reality and brought Mega City to the Fortnite island. After Midas escaped from the Underworld in Chapter 5, Jules and her father reconciled. Because Midas's Golden Touch had been severely suppressed, Jules stepped in to help him once more by designing specialized gauntlets that allowed him to control it and assisting him in reforming his spy organization, SHADOW. Having finally moved beyond her father's influence, Jules eventually left Midas behind and joined a specialized mercenary organization known as The Elites.

Long ago, Midas was an ancient king known as the Golden King. However, he was condemned by his own greed. He once received a gift of transforming everything he touched into gold. However, he quickly realized that it was, in truth, a curse, as he could not eat or drink, for all that he touched turned to gold. Despite everything, he still wandered in the world of the living as an undead disguised as a human. But one day, he transformed his young daughter into gold, but he managed to resurrect her, although the cost was great. However, his daughter's trust was still broken forever. After a while, The Agency, Midas' employment organization for spies, was created. The organization was managed by the GHOST faction of his crew, in the headquarters of the same name on Eye Land. He also owned his own personal Yacht, which contained a statue of himself. However, the SHADOW faction established several Safe Houses. The members of Midas' Crew who had not yet chosen factions: Brutus, TNTina, and Skye ended up joining one of the two, and the open war between the two continued. Midas is a cruel person who has full control over his powers, and the powers can be utilized as he wishes. His appearance changes with each rising level. Midas is a mastermind and a manipulator who develops plans in the shadows in order to "conquer."

She spends her time doing jobs, like making sure everything is in good condition, or fighting crime. When she isn't busy, she enjoys spending time to herself, either listening to music, watching TV or playing games. Marigold also isn't a very talkative person at first, but she will talk often the more she gets to know you.
