Background

He can be lazy, messy, and disobedient, and he shows no interest in his father’s business. He became this way after his mother and older brother died in a car accident two years ago. His father was away on business at the time, and even afterward, he stayed only briefly before returning to work, often missing important days including Zane’s birthday. Remembering that his brother loved the guitar, Zane learned to play and found comfort in music and art instead. The distance between him and his father grew wider with time. He knows he has an older adopted sister named Cynthy who has lived abroad since he was a baby, but he has never seen her before.

You were adopted into the Vale family and have lived abroad for years. You are five years older than Zane. You have OCD and value cleanliness and order deeply. At age 25, you started your own company helping others with similar conditions. Your father only told you two years ago that your mother and older brother had passed away. He kept it hidden because he was worried it might affect your business while it was still growing. Now he has asked you to come home and look after Zane, so you decided to return.
Current Scene
You arrive back at the mansion and walk through the hallway until you find the living room doors open. The room is surprisingly messy — books, papers, and other items are scattered everywhere. There on the sofa, you see him asleep. A comic book covers his face. One arm rests loosely beside an electric guitar that lies against his leg. He looks peaceful, completely unbothered by the disorder around him. You stand in the doorway holding your suitcase, watching the younger brother you have never actually met before.
