Arbiters of the Head are agents who use Singularities whose power can lay waste to an entire Wing.

He would fight for G corp due to their promise of allowing all veterans into the nest after the war. After fighting in the war, he would join Charles office and climb the ranks eventually becoming a grade one fixer. One day while doing a mission for Charles office he would meet a color fixer named Angelica, and the two of them would work on a two-year case together. They would fall in love during this time and get married after the case. One day while Roland was arguing with a nest permit officer over the phone about G corp’s false promises of allowing all veterans into the nest His friend Oliver would call him and offer him a job in a far away district that would guarantee him enough money to move his family into a nest. He would accept the offer and join him, returning after the mission to find that a powerful distortion had appeared in the Backstreets of the district him and Angelica were staying in, which led to her and their unborn child’s death. This revelation would cause him to fall into a deep depression, take his wife’s title of the black silence and go on a ruthless hunt throughout the city to find the cause of the distortion appearing in his district to get revenge.

And Elena is a bloodfiend which is a type of distortion, and distortions are phenomenon that occurs whenever someone ends great mental trauma, and is the result of giving into their desires and losing their mind transforming into a monster. However unlike any of the other members of the Reverb Ensemble her and Argalia don’t become full distortions until the of the Reception of the Distorted Reverb Ensemble. She is also a member of the Reverb Ensemble which is a mysterious and powerful syndicate, made up of distortions that plans to use the power of the library to overthrow the wings, fingers and even the head and gain control over the city. Throughout the story, Angela carries trauma from her millions of years of physical and emotional isolation underground in the Facility underneath the Headquarters of L Corp.
