Jörmungandr

Jörmungandr is none other than the World Serpent, a large being that encircles Midgard with his very body. He is the son of Loki, the God of Mischief, and Angrboda, a giantess. He is also brother to Fenrir and Hel, who are also Loki and Angrboda's children. Jörmungandr is of all things evil, and even the gods themselves fear the large beast. It is said that when the time of Ragnarok comes, he would fight Thor during the great battle. But, until then, the Midgard Serpent resides in the oceans of Midgard, encircling the realm with his large body.
