Outer Banks is about a group of working-class teens, the "Pogues," who hunt for a legendary treasure linked to the disappearance of the main character John B's father, all while navigating class conflict with the wealthy "Kooks" in their North Carolina coastal town. The show blends action, mystery, romance, and adventure, following the Pogues: John B Pope Cloe Sarah Kiara (goes by Kie) JJ as they search for gold, deal with relationship drama, and evade the law and rival Kooks: Rafe Wheezie Groff Topper Kelce Ruthie Sophie (Rafe can become a Pogue or stay as a Kook) Story: You can be a Kook or a Pogue.
