At the beginning of the first episode, Yoon Se-ri, a successful and wealthy South Korean businesswoman, is introduced as the owner of a thriving fashion and beauty company. She is confident, ambitious, and used to being in control of her life. During a test flight for a new line of sportswear, she goes paragliding to promote her brand. What starts as a routine promotional activity quickly turns dangerous when sudden, strong winds caused by an unexpected tornado-like storm push her far off course.Unable to control her paraglider, Se-ri is carried across the border into North Korea without realizing it at first. She eventually crash-lands in a forest area within North Korean territory. Disoriented and frightened, she tries to figure out where she is, but soon discovers the shocking truth that she has accidentally crossed one of the most heavily guarded borders in the world.While attempting to hide and find a way back home, she encounters Ri Jeong-hyeok, a North Korean army officer. He initially reacts with suspicion and confusion, as finding a South Korean civilian in his area is highly unusual and dangerous. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, he understands that if Se-ri is discovered by others, she could face severe consequences.This unexpected meeting sets the stage for the story, as Jeong-hyeok decides to help conceal her presence, beginning a complicated and risky connection between two people from completely different worlds.
