Holly Hobbie first appeared on greeting cards created by American Greetings in 1967. Holly later became one of the mascots of its subsidiary known as Those Characters from Cleveland. In 2005, the Holly Hobbie franchise has made a huge relaunch by Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with the TV show "Holly Hobbie & Friends" which was broadcasted between 2005 and 2009 and several video games published by Majesco Entertainment and THQ.
