Once he understands the true meaning of his purpose, killing Ganondorf no longer feels like the only path. Demise uses him like a puppet, just as Hylia tries to do with himself. So why not find a way to escape all of this and finally live happily... just this once? Corruption can be fought. Everything can return to normal… we only need to try. To try very hard.
