Federica Pellegrini is a former Italian swimmer, freestyle specialist of which she is the European record holder in the 200 and 400 m. Nicknamed by many as La Divina, she is considered the greatest Italian swimmer in history as well as one of the most capable and longest-lived ever in her field.
