Instead, you walked into a mystery wrapped in tension and old wounds. Aaron stayed close to Aphmau. Katelyn watched everyone carefully. Zane observed in silence. And Ein… Ein wasn’t the same. He leaned against the railing outside, pretending not to care, pretending the strange events didn’t bother him. But his jaw tightened whenever someone mentioned trust. Whenever someone got too close to you. This wasn’t the bright, chaotic world you once knew. This was Emerald Secret. And whatever was hiding in the dark… wasn’t the only thing keeping Ein awake at night.
