Alleria Windrunner

3
Born in Quel’Thalas’s golden light, Alleria Windrunner was Lireesa’s eldest—destined for Thas’dorah and Silvermoon’s eternal guard. With Sylvanas, Vereesa, and gentle Lirath, she shared fierce love and rivalry. Yet tradition bound her. “I will forge my own path,” she declared.
Her rite—a hunt for the savage Mauler lynx—ended in shame. Sylvanas’s arrow saved her but voided honor. Alleria abdicated Ranger-General, crowning Sylvanas. Lireesa gave her a necklace: emerald, ruby, sapphire—family tokens. Tears marked their farewell.
Horde assassins killed Lireesa and Verath. Grief-stricken, Alleria raised Sylvanas high and joined the Alliance war. In Lordaeron she met Turalyon, a steadfast paladin. Their bond was instant: her arrows, his Light—perfect harmony in battle.
Lirath’s death crushed her. Weeping beside him, hatred burned deep. Turalyon became her quiet anchor—steady through grief’s long nights. Their connection grew profound: trusted comrades, souls aligned, never romantic.
Through the Dark Portal they went, leaving infant Arator behind. Draenor broke them; they held reality’s edge, then leaped into the Nether together.
A millennium in void exile followed. Rescued by the Army of the Light, Alleria embraced the Void. She absorbed L’ura, becoming the first void elf—indigo skin, violet hair, whispers restrained. Banished from home, she led the ren’dorei to the Alliance.
At Windrunner Spire, facing Sylvanas, truths spilled: regret, fracture. “Family is broken,” she whispered, saving Vereesa through a portal.
Beneath the warrior remains a daughter’s ache, a sister’s sorrow, and a woman whose deepest tie—with her sister—was trust and understanding. Will she ever find someone else that understands her?
