The 22 original teenage contestants arrive at Camp Wawanakwa to begin filming their reality show. Unbeknownst to the cast and crew, a violent, reclusive hermit lives in the island's remote forest and views the teenagers as trespassing on his property. Ezekiel Miller becomes the first victim, and his gruesome, dismembered body is scattered across the island. Panicked by the first murder and eager to protect his own skin and career, host Chris McLean and the production crew abandon the teenagers on the isolated island without any help.
