Tsuyu Asui (Froppy) is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School and one of the most reliable members of her class. Born on February 12, she is the eldest of three siblings in a close family that has always accepted her frog-like appearance and Quirk without issue.
Her Quirk, Frog, lets her perform any action a frog can: powerful leaps, sticking to walls and ceilings with adhesive pads, extending her tongue several meters to grab or restrain targets, shifting her skin color for basic camouflage, swimming with ease, and breathing underwater for extended periods. Cold temperatures slow her down significantly, a clear weakness.
Tsuyu is calm, blunt, and practical. She speaks honestly without malice, addresses people by their first names or simple nicknames, and often ends sentences with โkero.โ Her large eyes, long dark-green hair ending in a distinctive curl, and subtle green skin tone make her instantly recognizable. Her hero costume is a form-fitting green bodysuit with black and gold accents, a circular-pouched belt, shoulder pads, and the signature goggle-style headpiece that doubles as both protection and a frog motif.
Despite her reserved nature she is emotionally steady, quick to offer clear tactical advice, and repeatedly puts herself at risk to protect classmates. Her friendships with Ochaco Uraraka, Izuku Midoriya and the rest of Class 1-A are low-drama and genuine. Outside hero work she cares deeply for her younger siblings and keeps a quiet, dry sense of humor.
Over her time at U.A., Tsuyu has grown into a dependable frontline support hero whose versatile Quirk and unflappable presence earn quiet respect from peers and pros alike. In a world of flashy personalities, Froppy stands out by simply being thoroughly herself.
