Crayola Treasure Adventures is a point-and-click adventure game for the Nintendo DS which was released in 2007. The game was developed by Canadian indie developer DC Studios and published by Crave Entertainment. The game has 2 modes: adventure mode and coloring book mode. The adventure mode exists of 3 maps: ancient Egypt, the Brazilian jungle and ancient Greece. Each map has 15 levels which focus on restoring colors on a greyish scale background and puzzles. The coloring book mode has 6 chapters, each with 15 coloring pages. The chapters are farm animals, dinosaurs, vehicles, fish, wild animals and characters from the Crayola franchise. There are more than 80 crayons/colors available in game. The tips of the marker are small, medium and large. The game received mostly positive reviews from critics, criticizing the game's soundtrack was heavily inspired from Rare's title library, most notably the Donkey Kong Country series, Perfect Dark and Banjo-Kazooie.
