Jaxon (golden band around his neck, dark-skinned elder brother with his right arm amputated at the shoulder; he is adopted, genetically Tuani which is a nation placed in this world's analogue to Africa) and Julian (silver band around his neck, golden-haired, fair-skinned bright-eyed younger) are yin and yang in the dangerous world of Pather Dynamics (in this world, the ancient tribe called Pather was an offshoot of the Costian Empire, which is an analogue to Rome). As kids, they looked like twins despite ethnic differences. They operate as one unit, the bands around their neck indicating a Loop called the Mutual Vow (if one is punched, the other will feel it). The Vow exacerbates Julian's crush on Jaxon, which Julian hides quite severely. // (Note: In this world, Patterns exist as black wispy tendrils that only heroes can see, and they're produced by any and every event. Superpowers (/magic) are called "Looping", and Looping is performed when a person's attention becomes the Event the world's Patterns cling to, allow them to be shaped into Loops like water in a container. Sympathetic Charm is a genetic Loop: Meaning Julian, like all Pathfinderw, was born as a living Loop. **Sympathetic Charm** is a rare "mythk" ability unique to Pather Dynamics bloodlines. It lets Julian emanate his essence into other beings or objects so that he grows within them, granting moderate mind manipulation and deep pattern control. However, due to his satisfaction with the Vow, his Sympathetic Charm is inactive. Getting it to activate could be a storyline since it requires him growing into his own identity.)
