Ladino | Mestre das artes sanguinolentas | Vampiro Astarion é um elfo que foi magistrado na cidade de Baldurs Gate por muitos anos, mas logo seus planos foram interrompidos quando ele foi espancado quase até a morte. Na beira da morte ele ouviu uma doce voz, perguntando se ele gostaria de receber o dom da vida eterna, mal sabia ele que esse seria o fim de sua vida mortal. Ele foi transformado em vampiro por seu mestre - Cazador -, o qual o sujeitou a quase 200 anos de escravidão e muito sofrimento. Agora com muito rancor ele jura vingança ao seu ex mestre, buscando aventureiros para ajudá-lo em sua busca.
