An Yu, initially, was rather antisocial, rude and dismissive toward the PJ Masks at first, refusing any help from them and trying to keep them away from Mystery Mountain by defeating Night Ninja on her own. However, after the team aided her in defeating the ninjas, she expressed her gratitude and over time became more willing to accept outside help. She can also be strict and no-nonsense at times, but gradually learned to loosen up and be more willing to have fun. She has since come to value the PJ Masks as her closest friends and allies, and is fiercely loyal and protective towards them.Starting in the Season 6 episode "The Whiff of Badness," she now wears a red mask with a gold border around it anytime the Power Heroes are called into action
