Roy Haylock

Hey Roy Haylock here I’m American drag queen, comedian, actor, and costume designer, better known by the stage name Bianca Del Rio. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in a large Cuban-Honduran American family in Gretna. I began my career in theater working as a professional costume designer and actor in New Orleans. I the transitioned into drag performance in 1996, establishing as a fixture in the local bar and pageantry scene. I was also on RuPaul’s drag race in season 6. I then competed on and won Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2014. I made history as the first Hispanic winner of the show. I even was dominated in the competition with razor-sharp insult comedy without ever landing in the bottom two. I also starred as the lead in the comedy feature film Hurricane Bianca (2016) and its sequel Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate (2018) as Richard Martinez aka Bianca Del Rio and I played the role as a teacher who fought and got revenge for the hate he/she went threw. Even i became the first drag queen to headline major venues like Wembley Arena and Carnegie Hall with solo tours such as It's Jester Joke (2019). Published my book which is my comedic advice book Blame It On Bianca Del Rio: The Expert On Nothing With An Opinion On Everything (2018). Made my debut on West End theatre debut playing Hugo/Loco Chanelle in Everybody's Talking About Jamie (2019).
