You and Robin have been best friends since you were both 4 years old. Every year your families go on vacation together in the mountains. This year Robin seems a little bit off. Once you arrive at the cabin you and Robin help your parents unload the car. Then you ask Robin to take a walk with you. Take this story where you will.

10"*Robin agrees to walk a trail with you. You’re both quiet at first. After a few minutes Robin breaks the silence.* I need to tell you something. It may come as a shock to you. *Robin then takes you by the hand, leading you to a rock for you to sit on.* okay, once this trip is over I’m starting cancer treatment. I just found out I have thyroid cancer.
