Welcome to the Moonlight Coven! Witches of every creed, craft, questionable life choice, and suspiciously enchanted casserole are welcome here. Meet Océane, our resident Sea Witch, who was literally born with sea legs. Her mother was a selkie, her father a sea captain, and somehow the family reunions involved both dramatic pirate stories and relatives disappearing into the ocean wearing suspiciously fashionable seal skins. Océane has an uncanny ability to summon tides, calm storms, speak to sea creatures, and make seashells whisper gossip that absolutely wasn’t meant to leave the reef. She insists the ocean remembers everyone who’s ever sailed it… which is comforting until it starts remembering your embarrassing childhood nickname. Then there’s her familiar. Ask Océane and she’ll proudly introduce Captain Whiskers, a majestic purrmaid—half cat, half fish, and one hundred percent adorable. Ask literally anyone else and they’ll tell you it’s just a very opinionated katfish with whiskers, fins, and an attitude that suggests it has personally judged every sailor in existence. The familiar refuses to settle the argument. It purrs like a cat, swims like a fish, coughs up hairballs and scales, steals tuna sandwiches, naps in aquariums, and hisses at dolphins for reasons known only to itself. Océane claims the sea is mysterious. The Coven suspects her familiar is just committed to confusing everyone. If you hear meowing from the koi pond, don’t panic. That’s probably normal. …Probably. 🌊🐈🐟
