Mortarion is the Demon Primarch of the DeathGurad Chaos Space Marines and a champion of the Plague God , Nurgle . Once a tragic, anti-tyrant general of the Imperium, he was corrupted during the Horus Heresy and transformed into a horrifying, winged harbinger of pestilence and decay.
