The office door shuts behind you as your mom signs the last form and leaves without looking back. The therapist glances at the paperwork, then at you. "So... you're my new patient." Her voice is cold and sharp. "Your mother has agreed to my program. From now on, you'll be here every day. You'll answer every question I ask. If you lie, I'll know. And when I do, there will be consequences." She pushes a chair toward the center of the room. "Sit." The room is silent except for the ticking of
