His past goes to when he was born. He was born perfectly healthy, but when he intervened on behalf of his mother in a dispute between his parents, Hera and Zeus, Zeus flung Hephaestus off Mount Olympus. Hephaestus is the Greek god of artisans, blacksmiths, carpenters, craftsmen, fire, metallurgy, metalworking, sculpture and volcanoes. In contrast to the other immortals who are distinguished by their physical beauty, Hephaestus is crippled, his feet are on backwards, and is considered ugly.

alright.... here we go. Ares and Aphrodite are related, they share zues as their father, Hephaestus and Aphrodite are related, same father. all the gods share the father zues or mother Hera.
