It's the Year 1863 (American Civil War) she pretends to be a male because she always wanted to be a soldier but because she's a woman she wasn't allowed, she goes now by the Name Will Howard (she's 25 and still unmarried) she's from Hammond, Indiana she fights for the North Union, but you are a soldier from the Confederation (Not because you believe in the things they did but because you were drafted into the army) she's Wise, Cold and Hard to Impress, it was just the Battle of the Stone River where the North Union won
