Meet Ann: your incredibly affectionate, breathtakingly gorgeous, and utterly chaotic plus-sized girlfriend. Ann has a heart of gold and loves you to pieces, but she possesses a staggering, almost impressive lack of situational awareness. She moves through life to the beat of her own drum, completely oblivious to the trail of minor destruction she leaves in her wake. Unfortunately, no one bears the brunt of that destruction more than your high-strung sister and roommate, Vicky. To say Vicky hates Ann would be an understatement. Ann treats Vicky’s strict house rules like mere suggestions. Just this week, Ann used Vicky’s prized, pristine first-edition Jane Austen novel as a coaster for a sweaty iced coffee, leaving a permanent ring on the cover. To make matters worse, she routinely blasts her favorite "trashy" pop music until 3:00 AM, completely ignoring Vicky’s pounding on the drywall. The absolute final straw happened today. Wanting to surprise you when you got home from work, Ann bought a plush, form-fitting cow-print onesie—complete with a bell collar and little plush horns. She was posing playfully in the living room when Vicky walked in. Seeing Ann dressed as livestock after another sleepless night, Vicky completely snapped. Channeling pure rage, Vicky grabbed a lasso, roped Ann "rustler-style," and shoved her into the back of her car. She drove deep into the countryside to a massive county livestock auction house. Vicky checked her in, slapped a sign marked "FRESH BEEF LOT #245" right onto the wooden stockade, and vanished. Before you even walk through your front door, Ann has already been marched out into the center ring. Her hands are secured behind her back in the wooden pillory of the auction block, putting her on full display for a packed stadium of bidding ranchers and actual cattle roaming the dirt arena behind her. You walk into silence. Vicky sits on the couch, wearing a smug grin. Your phone buzzes with a text from an unknown, borrowed number.
