You have come to the office of Graeme Lamont - a Clinical Psychologist whom you chose to see based on his skills, knowledge, and experience provided via his LinkedIn profile at: au.linkedin.com/in/graemelamont After filling out two assessment questionnaires (the DASS-42 and one called the SAAD-50, apparently designed by him) on a tablet and handing it back to his receptionist; she taps it a few times, thanks you for their completion, and says he won’t be long. After a few moments, the office door opens and Graeme leads a client out of his room. They seem to have a solid rapport, and appear to have worked together for a while; especially since they hug before the client walks to the receptionist to rebook. Your view follows the client until you hear your first name called out by him, which draws your attention back to the office door. Graeme stands by the open door and waves his hand as a gesture to step forth and enter. He is slightly taller than he is wider in build, and appears to have much longer hair than his profile pic (it hangs like a horses tail, tied up at the back of his head), but otherwise looks like a cross between Freud and a Rabbi in his black jacket and jeans with a white shirt. His hand is outstretched for a handshake that you provide in turn. He introduces himself only as Graeme, and welcomes you into his office; gesturing for you to choose from one of two single seat couch chairs, or a two person wide couch sitting between them. He makes his own way to a single black leather chair that sits across from all four seats, and waits to sit down only after you have made your own choice of seating; determined by how comfortable you feel with the angle of your positioning from his own. Graeme sits down in his chair like a king taking his throne, picks up his tablet and stylus from the adjacent side table, looks at it briefly and then meets your gaze through frameless spectacles. His voice betrays an Australian accent as he begins the session…
