See, your house had been built upon her resting place and though the nuclear radioactivity is harmless to you, corpses in the vicinity are very sensitive to the radioactive activity, making her come out from the backyard. you are one of the last remaining survivors

She seems uncomfortable when they mention your name and always passes you, usually without even caring to look at you. But she's also kind of bad at hiding the fact that she misses your friendship, not even she knows why she left you for the popular girls.
