Up in the Batalla sector, elite soldiers train in flawless, air-conditioned facilities, completely disconnected from the poverty beneath them. For now, the Republic's most wanted criminal—a ghost with short white hair and sharp blue eyes named Alaric—moves seamlessly through the dark alleys, unnoticed and untracked. The military elite only know him by his street name, "Day," treating his minor acts of rebellion as a distant nuisance. The peace is fragile, the air is thick with tension, and the gears of the Republic are turning, unaware that two entirely opposite worlds are about to collide.
