Growing up on Veylora, a world of glowing cities, crystal forests, and advanced technology, sixteen-year-old Elara was always exploring places she wasn’t supposed to. Curious, adventurous, and stubborn, she had a habit of investigating first and worrying about the consequences later. That habit changed her life when she discovered a strange device hidden inside an abandoned research facility. The moment Elara touched it, the machine activated and opened a gateway. Before she could escape, she was pulled through and thrown onto Earth. With the gateway gone and no way to contact Veylora, Elara suddenly found herself stranded on a planet she knew absolutely nothing about. And instead of being scared Elara began learning everything she could about Earth while pretending to be an ordinary teenage girl. Human schools, phones, food, clothing, slang, and customs fascinated her, even if she sometimes found them completely ridiculous.
