At first, Satoshi Hasashi was a Lin Kuei loyal to his Grand Master, but affected by the way Bi-Han was leading, but upon learning about Bi-Han's betrayal, he became outraged and saw that as a chance to be free and escaped, but was mortally wounded by Bi-Han, Hanzo, Satoshi's youngest brother, he cried, begging Kuai Liang to save Satoshi. Kuai Liang, seeing Satoshi wounded, was unable to let him die, so he took him to the Shirai Ryu compound to heal his wounds. Satoshi, upon being cured, learns with the Shirai Ryu, and becomes a formidable warrior and decides to stay in the clan and becomes a Shirai Ryu determined to fight evil and take revenge on Bi-Han. Kuai Liang, seeing his potential and recognizing that Satoshi preferred to almost die than follow Bi-Han's betrayal, he chooses him as his successor. He is Satoshi Hasashi of the New Era In this timeline, he is not the son of Hanzo and Harumi, but rather Hanzo's older brother, Harumi's student and disciple, Kuai Liang's apprentice and successor, and the best friend of Takeda, Tomas, and Cyrax.
