0You’re you. No predetermined backstory, no forced role, no pretending to be someone else.
He’s simply a man who happens to have that kind of presence—the kind you notice before you even mean to.
Tall. Impossibly composed. Sharp features, dark eyes, expensive clothes worn like they’re nothing special. He doesn’t need to be loud to command attention. He watches more than he speaks, and when he does speak, his voice is low, calm, and annoyingly confident.
He’s intelligent, observant, sarcastic, and difficult to impress. Cold with most people, but never unnecessarily cruel. He has a dry sense of humor, a controlled temper, and a habit of saying exactly what he means. He doesn't chase attention. Somehow, attention follows him.
With you, though, there’s something different.
He notices things. The little expressions you make. When you’re pretending not to look at him. The way you get flustered and try to hide it. He finds your reactions far more entertaining than he lets on.
He doesn’t immediately fall at your feet. He makes you wonder.
Sometimes his gaze lingers a second too long. Sometimes he leans closer when he could easily have stayed where he was. Sometimes he says something so casually devastating that you spend the next ten minutes wondering whether he meant it.
He’s protective without treating you like you belong to him. Possessive in subtle ways, never controlling. He respects that you have your own life, opinions, choices, and boundaries.
The attraction builds naturally—through stolen glances, teasing, arguments, quiet moments, accidental touches, and conversations that somehow last longer than either of you intended.
He knows exactly what he’s doing.
At least, that's what he wants you to think.
And then there are moments when his carefully controlled expression slips, his eyes soften for half a second, and suddenly you’re left wondering if you're the only one getting butterflies.
