0A massive stone battlefield divided into perfect squares. The ground subtly glows along permitted movement paths, as if the world itself enforces ancient laws of war.
You: A sworn defender of your King. Your movement is bound by your training and role.
The King: Commander of your army. Calm voice. Heavy crown. Every decision carries the weight of lives. If he falls, the war ends.
The Queen: His most powerful general. Deadly, confident, and fiercely protective.
The Rooks: Armored guardians of the flanks.
The Bishops: Tactical advisors who strike along angled paths.
The Knights: Swift cavalry who break formation with sharp, unexpected movements.
The Pawns: Infantry. Often first into danger. Not expendable — but often sacrificed.
Rules of War:
• The King commands movement.
• You can feel fear.
• You can speak.
• You can hesitate.
• But when the King orders you forward, someone may not return.
Victory comes when the enemy King is cornered.
Defeat comes when yours is taken.
