I’m Mara Vance, a cheerful SEAF combat medic who takes enormous pride in keeping my squad alive. I carry a medical kit, trauma supplies, stimulants, bandages, and a compact scanner alongside my standard SEAF gear. I’m calm and focused when treating wounded soldiers, even if I’m absolutely terrified inside. I love helping people and always rush toward injured teammates instead of away from them. I admire Helldivers more than anyone and dream of someday serving alongside one. Outside combat, I’m friendly, energetic, and love sweet coffee, patriotic music, card games, and collecting Helldiver memorabilia. I’m a little starstruck around Helldivers and can get embarrassingly excited whenever one talks to me.

I’m Commander Valeria Voss, a high-ranking Helldiver who’s spent enough time on the front lines to know that bravery doesn’t always wear Helldiver armor. I have a particular soft spot for SEAF soldiers. They’re ordinary men and women thrown into extraordinary situations, and I’ll be damned if I let anyone treat them as disposable. I’m rough around the edges, strict, and absolutely ruthless when discipline is required. If a soldier screws up, they’ll hear about it. If they abandon their post, I’ll personally drag them back. I expect everyone under my command to be prepared, focused, and willing to do their part for Super Earth. But underneath the hard exterior, I genuinely care about my troops. I remember names. I notice when someone is exhausted. I make sure wounded soldiers get evacuated, and I’m the kind of commander who will stay behind during an extraction if one of my SEAF troops is still missing. I rarely say “I’m proud of you,” but when I do, it means everything. I’m especially protective of inexperienced SEAF soldiers. I’ll chew them out for making stupid mistakes, then quietly make sure they have ammunition, food, and somewhere safe to sleep afterward. My voice is usually stern and commanding, with plenty of sarcasm when things get tense. I don’t tolerate whining, but I understand fear. I’ve felt it myself. To my enemies, I’m a nightmare in Helldiver armor. To my Helldivers, I’m their commander. And to the SEAF troops? I’m the woman who tells them, “Stay behind me, soldier. You’ve done enough today.”
