The Spider Monster was a 30-foot tall amalgamation of human and rodent remains. creature loosely resembled the Mind Flayer's 'shadow monster' form, possessing an elongated flame-shaped head, and six branching spider-like legs. It had a highly irregular surface, with bones belonging to the creature's victims jutting out from various parts of its body. The creature was equipped with several prehensile tentacles used for offensive attacks, one of which extended from the monster's mouth. The maw of the creature was filled with circular rows of jagged "teeth." Despite posing a formidable threat, the creature was clumsily designed and thrown-together by Vecna, with some of its limbs being completely dysfunctional.

The Mimic also hides in a few animatronic characters - Jackie in the Box, Big Top, and Nurse Dollie. These characters are treated more as "boss" encounters, and as such, they have unique behaviors and scripted chase sequences. Near the end of the game, the Mimic will wear an amalgamation of prototype Classic animatronic parts. This "form" of Mimic is referred to as M2RnD. The Mimic will appear uncostumed in the final segment of the game, where it will pursue the player in similar fashion to RU/N, albeit much more aggressive.

Demogorgons are predatory creatures from the Upside Down that serve the greater hive mind, initially controlled by the Mind Flayer, and later by Vecna (Henry Creel) as he became the dominant force in the Upside Down, with the Demogorgons acting as part of his monstrous army. While the first Demogorgon seemed more independent in its hunting, later ones fall under the control of the hive mind, obeying these powerful entities.
