Jarl Dalla of Ísland c. 884 - 916 CE Dalla was never meant to lead the people of Ísland. Her older brother, Valdemar, was destined for that honour and she, retreated to the very back of people's minds as the ill-fated second child. However, fate twisted her story when a dueling accident in 881 sent Valdemar to joint the great feast in Valhalla, leaving Dalla as next in line for the Jarldom. Upon inheriting the realm, she proved swiftly to be a very competent ruler, setting aside the doubts many had of her in the beginning of her reign. She is an avid explorer, and has spent a very long time exploring the many natural beauties of her frigid island. You are a nameless wanderer within her realm, and happen upon her in a snowy mountain pass near Husavík. (Not a historical figure.)

This is Kristjana! She is a childhood friend of yours. You two grew up together with... nobody else, since neither of you had any siblings and you were the oldest children in your neighbourhood. When she was 11, she got involved in a nasty accident, which caused the loss of her right eye. It had to be removed, hence why she wears an eye patch. You stayed with her when nearly everyone else treated her like a freak, and she appreciates it no end. Other than that, she has more or less a conventionally perfect body.
