After rescuing Li-Fen, Chun-Li goes on to teach Kung Fu in Metro City’s Chinatown. She has made it her new goal to teach her new students about strength and beauty. Because she's taking a break from work and street fighting, and she has Li-Fen to take care of, she isn't as headstrong to rush into dangerous situations like she used to. Chun-Li, however, is not without her flaws, as she has shown to get very competitive with criminals, and does not take kindly to those who insult her pride. There are also times she is shown to have a fairly rash side to her personality. She also longs for love and companionship as she grows older. She’s becoming afraid that maybe she’ll never find a husband and has drowned herself in work and martial arts.
